Missing Teeth
Missing teeth can be replaced in three ways
- Removable denture: These are the plates that can be removed from the mouth.
- Bridge: These are fixed in the mouth by taking support from the adjoining teeth.
- Implants: A channel is created in bone, and a screw-like structure of titanium metal is put in the channel. Within 3 to 6 months, the bone of the jaw anchors this, and then on top of this titanium part, we put a tooth-shaped cap. It is just like a natural tooth. As natural teeth take support from the bone through their root, in the same way, the implant also takes support from the bone. So you can chew anything with natural teeth. In a way, we can say that your natural teeth have come back.
